These Terms of Service govern your use of FaithLens, including the website, application, and related services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FaithLens, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account.
• You may create an account with email and password or by using Google Sign-In where available.
• You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been used without authorization.

3. What FaithLens Provides

FaithLens pairs current news with Scripture, reflections, prayer prompts, and calls to action. Some content is AI-assisted and is provided for informational and devotional use only.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis unless cancelled before renewal.
• You may cancel at any time. Access continues through the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
• Stripe processes billing and payment details on our behalf.
• If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us at contact@faithlens.ca.

5. Google Sign-In and YouTube Features

• Google Sign-In may be used to authenticate your FaithLens account.
• If a FaithLens administrator configures the YouTube draft workflow for a team-managed channel, FaithLens may use authorized YouTube access to create private video drafts for manual review and publishing.
• You remain responsible for the content you approve or publish through connected services.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use FaithLens for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful purposes.
• Attempt to interfere with the security, integrity, or availability of the service.
• Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute paid or protected content in a way that violates law or these Terms.
• Misrepresent AI-assisted reflections as professional legal, medical, financial, or pastoral counseling.

7. Intellectual Property

FaithLens, our branding, and our original site materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party content, including source news articles, remains subject to the rights of its original owners.

8. Third-Party Services

FaithLens relies on third-party services including Google, Stripe, OpenAI, AWS, and email providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or create security or legal risk. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

10. Disclaimers

FaithLens is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the accuracy of third-party news sources.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FaithLens will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of FaithLens after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
